HAROLD HARK WINS 2002 "PINCUSHION" AWARD

Citing slipshod, opinionated commentary full of so many holes he could be likened to an intellectually deprived sieve, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Objectivity feted Harold Hark with a ceremony condemning him to suffer the slings and arrows of his outrageous fulminations.

The gala event was sponsored by the Australian Illiberal Party, in conjunction with ASIO and the Union of Sensible Journalists. Music was provided by the David Flint For Queen Waltz Kings.

Attending Illiberals were ashiver and aflutter as they emptied their quivers in the spluttering nutter, while rocks and flammable balls of peat were thrown by members of the National Party. Invited journalists observed the highest standards of objective balance before filing their reports.
